Violence and discrimination against women is widespread and deep-rooted. Women are deprived of their basic rights, down-graded and dehumanized through social practices and customs. Women at risk have very few possibilities to escape from violence and abuse. Dast-e-Shafqat seeks to support women and girls in such situations and helps to alleviate their suffering.
