LivingEducation is a Pakistani-Swiss Non Profit Organization that runs different social projects in Pakistan in order to create new life perspectives for the most marginalized people. All projects and services are free of charge. The projects are financed by private donations. By the name Dast-e-Shafqat, LivingEducation has now started a new project for women.

About Us

About "Dast-e-Shafqat"

Dast-e-Shafqat is a Swiss-Pakistani Non-governmental Organization (NGO) which is funded by private donors and supporters. The head office of the organization is in Switzerland.

Dast-e-Shafqat is an information centre for women who are victims of violence and abuse or who are at risk of violence. It provides a safe and peaceful place for distressed women where they can take temporary refuge from all those who seek to harm them.

Dast-e-Shafqat seeks to promote awareness of women’s basic rights and is encouraging women to address domestic violence and abuse. All kinds of support are free of charge.

Working principles

Dast-e-Shafqat upholds the dignity, human rights and security of those seeking help and assistance under all circumstances.

Dast-e-Shafqat provides help regardless of religion, status or nationality of the women seeking support.

The organization provides free and easily accessible emergency aid and protection but also seeks to develop middle and long term perspectives for the women concerned.
